WHEREAS bids were received for improvements to an earthen backstop at the
Police Department's firing range on Lafin Road; and,
WHEREAS, Phoenix Demolition, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of$26,729.70
for labor, materials, supplies and equipment needed for improvements to the earthen
backstop; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Phoenix
Demolition, Inc., should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Phoenix Demolition, Inc., in the amount of $26,729.70 for
furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and supplies necessary for improvements to the
earthen backstop at the Police Department's firing range on Lafin Road be accepted by the
City of Beaumont.
