WHEREAS, one bid was received for providing an annual contract for Security Guard and
Event Staff services for the Convention Facilities Division; and,
WHEREAS, Delta Security, Inc. submitted a bid in the amounts shown below for an
estimated amount of$242,362.50 for one year with the option to renew the contract for one year:
Description Rate
Guard Service Supervisor $ 8.50 per hour
Ticket Taker Supervisor $ 6.75 per hour
Ticket Taker $ 10.25 per hour
Usher Supervisor $ 6.75 per hour
Usher $ 13.00 per hour
Door Guard $17.50 per hour
T-Shirt Guard $ 10.40 per hour
Police Officers and Emergency Medical Personnel Administrative fee of 2% of hourly rate
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Delta Security, Inc.
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Delta Security, Inc. for an annual contract for Security Guard and Event
Staff services for the Convention Facilities Division in the above stated amounts be accepted by
the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
