WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont has no objection to the disposal of surplus
property as described below and in Exhibits "A" and "B" attached hereto:
Parcel #1: 3895 Kenneth
Lots 1 &2, Block 52, Jeff Chaison 2"d addition.
A 4,050 square foot structure is located on a 15,040 square foot lot.
The two story building was constructed in 1938.
Parcel #2: 1155 Glendale
The south Y2 of Lot 14, all of Lot 15, Block D, Mayfair Addition.
This property consists of a 34,088 total square foot lot with a 1,377
square foot structure. City records indicate that the building was
constructed in 1932
and,
WHEREAS, the land is no longer needed for the use of citizens as a road, nor does
it have a potential for park, conservation, recreation or similar purposes; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont wishes to sell Parcel#1 in the amount of$10,000
to V. Stephen Ayres, Jr. and Parcel #2 in the amount of$8,005.50 to John V. Naymik;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to sell Parcel #1 in the amount
of$10,000 to V. Stephen Ayres, Jr. and Parcel #2 in the amount of$8,005.50 to John V.
Naymik.
