BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Council of the City of Beaumont approves the formation of an Economic
Development Advisory Committee to facilitate the attraction, expansion, or retention of
existing and new industry. The Advisory Committee will be composed of seven (7)
appointed members as shown:
O A representative of a financial institution
O An attorney
O A representative from the construction, real estate, or development industry
O Two (2) from the general business community
O Board Members
O President and Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce
O Ex-officio Board Members
O Mayor and City Manager
