WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of 7,200 feet of 10-inch diameter
polyethylene pipe for use by the Water Utilities Division; and,
WHEREAS, ACT Pipe & Supply, Inc., submitted a bid in the amount of $43,488;
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by ACT Pipe &
Supply, Inc., should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by ACT Pipe & Supply, Inc., for the purchase of 7,200 feet of 10-
inch diameter polyethylene pipe for use by the Water Utilities Division in the amount of
$43,488, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the lS day of
2000.
