WHEREAS bids were received for a contract to furnish all equipment and labor to
remove and dispose of the existing airport fuel farm and to install two (2) 10,000 gallon
above-ground fuel storage tanks, a ramp dispensing unit with card reader, piping, concrete
mounting pads and new access drive; and
WHEREAS, Petroleum Market Equipment, Inc., submitted a bid in the amount of
$141,521; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Petroleum
Market Equipment, Inc. should be accepted:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Petroleum Market Equipment, Inc., for a contract to furnish all
equipment and labor to remove and dispose of the existing airport fuel farm and to install
two (2) 10,000 gallon above-ground fuel storage tanks, a ramp dispensing unit with card
reader, piping, concrete mounting pads and new access drive above in the amount of
$141,521 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the f as day of
2000.
