WHEREAS, City Council adopted Resolution No. 99-54 providing for monthly
payment in the amount of$1,000 to assist in defraying operating costs and the expenses
associated with staffing at the Beaumont Botanical Gardens; and,
WHEREAS, Beaumont Council of Garden Clubs wishes to employ an additional
part-time employee to assist with the maintenance of the gardens;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT Resolution No. 99-54 be and the same is hereby amended to amend the
management fee payment for maintenance and operations of the Beaumont Botanical
Gardens to $2,000 per month.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
