ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING
A 20' WIDE ALLEY LOCATED IN BLOCK 37, JEF CHAISON
ADDITION, BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS
AND PROVIDING FOR THE RETENTION OF A 20' GENERAL
UTILITY EASEMENT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the 20' x 300' alley right-of-way in Block 37, Jef Chaison Addition, said alley lying
between Ector Avenue and Chaison Avenue, being south of Lots 1-6 and north of Lots 7-
12, Block 37, of said addition, containing in area 6,000 square feet or 0.137 acres, more
or less, in Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto,
be and the same is hereby, vacated and abandoned and that title to such property shall
revert to and become the property of the persons entitled thereto, as provided by law,
subject to the retention of a 20' x 300' general utility easement in lieu of the alley.
