WHEREAS, the lawsuit of Golden Triangle Paper Stock Co.. Inc. D/B/A/ Gulf Coast
Rycling Co. v. City of Beaumont has been discussed in an Executive Session properly
called and held on September 26, 2000; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the lawsuit;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, authorized to settle the claim of Golden
Triangle Paper Stock Co., Inc. D/B/A/Gulf Coast Recycling Co. v, City of Beaumont in the
amount of Thirty-Five Thousand ($35,000) Dollars.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day
